Music of all genres sound pretty sweet on the ATH-M70x (though the high-end emphasis might be fatiguing for people sensitive to upper treble frequencies). And although the bass emphasis may be more generous that what you’re used to from studio or monitoring headphone, it also makes for a more fun sound signature. So, if you’re looking for an honest headphone that also has a soul, the M70x is it.
