ddHifi DJ35AG balanced 2.5mm to 3.5mm gold-plated adapter - Review

Purpose

The DJ35AG, which runs for $22, is a balanced 2.5mm female to 3.5mm male adapter. Its gold plated, stainless steel shell is meant to be a sturdier alternative to plastic or copper. It uses a clear socket, allowing you to see the plug inside the actual adapter. 

Look, Feel, and Durability 

This is probably the tiniest converter of its type you’ll find. It’s so small you may not even notice it on the end of your cable. Despite its minuscule amount of design real-estate, ddHifi still managed to make this converter look a few levels of luxury above other options. It’s sturdy, quality build, paired with its pseudo-steam punk look make this the top of the line in its niche product sub-category. It also comes in an adorable wooden box, which makes for a very dramatic unveiling were you to continue using it as a case for the adapter.
