The HD 660 S2 makes a great gift for Sennheiser lovers or people who are looking to get an upgrade in open-backs. 

MEZE 99 CLASSICS 1ST GEN

If it's closed-back headphones you're after, Meze Audio will have some that are great value. During Black Friday, you can get the Meze 99 Classics 1st Gen for $229, a stunning $80 down from the original. This headphone is great for travel and casual listening, as its dynamic sound signature complements any genre, and it is very comfortable to wear. Meze just remodeled this version in the 99 Classics 2nd Gen, but it won't be going on sale this holiday. If you're looking for the best value, the 1st Gen is a great headphone for a great price. 

FOCAL UTOPIA (2022 REVISION)

When we enter flagship territory, one company we have to look at is Focal. This French company has long made headphones that have been on audiophiles' endgame lists, and perhaps this holiday season is the time they pull the trigger. The Focal Utopia is $5k purchase normally, but during Black Friday, it is retailing for 15% off its normal price. The Utopia is a great open-back headphone for people with a large collection already and who want the next step up. In addition to the Utopia, other headphones by Focal are going on sale. Their flagship closed-back, the Stellia, is retailing for $2,734, which is a nice discount from the original $3k price point.

Be honest... we all know someone who is looking to start DJ-ing. Either that, or they are looking to get into music production with their acoustic guitar, SM58, and Garageband MIDI. Not only does Sennheiser make reference headphones, but it also makes reference in-ear monitors. Their IE series is an excellent line of wired earphones that are perfect for elevating your listening experience or for more professional use. The IE 900 is the highest model in the series, and it has accessories like multiple cables, eartips, and a carrying case to match the quality of the earbud. At $600 off, this is an earphone that is right on par with the 64 Audio reference IEMs. You can also look at the IE 600 or the IE 200 for more affordable options, giving you great sound quality at an even bigger discount. However, if it's top of the line you're looking for, the IE 900 is the one to get.

One of my favorite IEMs is on sale this Black Friday, and it comes from a company right here in the US. Campfire Audio is well-known for its in-ear monitors that have an impressive design as well as sound. The Bonneville has long held the spot as a fan-favorite in the Chromatic series, and this Black Friday, it drops its price by 20% to give audiophiles a new listening experience. The Bonneville has a punchy bass, airy treble, and clear midrange to make any audiophile's listening experience next level. If you're looking for strong noise cancellation, look no further than Sony headphones. The newest release from Sony, the WH-1000XM6, is one of the leading models for strong ANC headphones. Suppose you already have something like the MOMENTUM 4 or the Sony WH-1000XM5. Why not upgrade to another brand? If you're still looking for a better, budget-friendly option, the Px7 S2e offers the same good sound quality at a lower price point of $359 during the holidays. 

DALI IO-12

Let's say you want something different than a regular Sony or Sennheiser headphone, but are looking for an upgrade from the Bathys. Where do you go from there? The Dali IO-12 is the answer. This Bluetooth headphone is a flagship in its category, offering stellar sound quality that doesn't need any adjustment with an accompanying app. It has active noise cancellation and button controls for easy use, all while resting comfortably on your head without too much clamping force. The Dali IO-12 retails for $1,750, but on Black Friday, you'll see it retail for $1,329. If you want a step up in sound quality, look no further than Bowers & Wilkins. This company has been known to make hi-fi systems that are great for home setups, and their portable devices are gaining more and more popularity. The Pi8 is the top earbud from Bowers & Wilkins, with active noise cancellation and EQ adjustment in the app so you can personalize your listening. At $150 discount, you can listen to hi-fi on the go for less. If all the added features aren't for you and you're looking for an even better deal, check out the Pi6 for the same good sound quality at a budget cost. It will be on sale from $249 to $199. 

BEYERDYNAMIC AMIRON 300

Another great value item to look out for this Black Friday comes from the German company Beyerdynamic. Their true wireless models are great for any athlete, and the AMIRON 300 is a perfect companion for everyday listening. It has active noise cancellation, EQ customization, and a lightweight design, so it can be worn all day with no issue. The AMIRON 300 is great for sound quality and easy functionality. For $149.99, it competes with Sennheiser and Sony to take the top spot of best value item. If you're looking for more sporting earphones, I highly recommend checking out the other items in their AMIRON series. 

NOBLE AUDIO FOKUS PRESTIGE

For true wireless IEMs, no one does it like Noble Audio. The FoKus series is second to none in terms of sound quality, features, functionality, and style. The FoKus Prestige has long been a favorite among audiophiles seeking portable sound, and the Rex5 has impressed with its noise-cancelling capabilities.
