FlipEars has always impressed with its different collections of IEMs. Not only are they visually stunning, but they are also sonic works of art. The latest release from FlipEars is surely one of its best yet. The Aisha Electri is a fantastic IEM with a tribrid configuration that could give any flagship a run for its money. Retailing at just $699, the Aisha Electri offers stellar sound quality for an attractive rate to any audiophile. In this review, we'll dive into all the details that make this in-ear monitor one of a kind.
WHAT COMES IN THE BOX
Like all Flipears models, the Aisha Electri comes with a host of different accessories to make sure you're set when you go to listen. In the box, you get the following:
- FlipEars Aisha Electri IEMs
- Zippered Carrying Case
- Assorted Eartips
- Custom 2-pin FlipEars cable with 4.4mm termination
DESIGN & BUILD QUALITY
The design of the Aisha Electri is nothing if not stunning. The IEM was black with gold decoration, with spiraling detail that shone against the light. The cable itself is also decorated at the edges with touches of gold that reflect the overall design of the IEM. The cable is soft and terminates to 4.4mm, so it integrates perfectly into any audiophile setup. The Aisha Electri does have a larger IEM shell, though it isn't as heavy as you'd expect. It is just heavy enough to feel high-quality and not cheap. Even smaller ears will find comfort in the feel of this IEM, as the right eartips will offer a comfortable and stable fit for long listening sessions. Paired with an exceptional DAC or amplifier combination, you're all set to start listening.
Because this IEM terminates at 4.4mm, you have a lot of options for what to use with the Aisha Electri. For my listening, I was a fan of the FiiO BTR17 or the iFi Gryphon as portable devices with great synergy. If you're looking for something with adaptable features, using the iFi GO Blu or the Chord MOJO 2 is also a great choice.

LISTENING REVIEW
SOUNDSTAGE & IMAGING
Let's start with a simple fact before we get into the details of the listening section: the Aisha Electri blew me away. My first impression of the Aisha Electri was a spectacular one, before I had really started to analyze the nuances of the signature. The soundstage was wide and immersive in a way that I'd only experienced in some really high-end IEMs. Not only did it have great horizontal width, but the depth allowed that sound to wrap around my head and really put me in the center of my listening. It was hard not to just get lost in the music, especially when everything is being placed around you with such detail and precision.
The signature as a whole was fairly balanced, wonderfully dynamic, and always entertaining. The Aisha Electri doesn't exactly have truly reference sound reproduction, but instruments do have highly detailed and honest timbres to make them easily recognizable. A notable feature in this signature was the bass and the tactile quality it possesses. It added to the immersiveness of the signature and the entertaining factor that Aisha Electri has. On top of that, the balance that came from treble detail and midrange clarity made the entire signature tie together beautifully.
BASS FREQUENCIES
One of my favorite parts of the Aisha Electric was the bass response. The bass in this IEM is strong and powerful, creating an excellent foundation for the rest of the sound signature to build from. There is incredible detail coming from the bass of the Aisha Electri, one that doesn't shy away from color or clarity, so you get the full experience. The slam of the bass is really what makes this range incredible. With the way the signature wraps around you, the tactile slam of the bass is even more noticeable. It's like it comes at you from all sides to encase you in the deep warmth that the Aisha Electri's low end provides.
MIDRANGE FREQUENCIES
The Aisha Electri excels in providing detail and honest timbres, and this is most apparent when listening to the midrange. Vocals come to the front pretty easily to be instantly recognizable. They become the center point of each track, with other elements filtering around them in the sound field. I liked how you could hear the minute details in singers' voices and their accompanying instruments, like the plucking of a guitar or the physical contact of piano keys. These small, transparent details really added up and made the stereo field much busier than you'd expect. The Aisha Electri didn't become cramped or overcrowded; instead, it stayed spacious in the midrange with excellent depth and horizontal space.
TREBLE FREQUENCIES
The top end of the Aisha Electri has a lot of detail and clarity, really balancing out the powerful low end. This range comes in to offer relief from the tactile slam of the bass and the potentially overwhelming transparency of the midrange. It prevents the sound signature from swallowing you in low and deep frequencies and keeps everything uncompressed. The high frequencies expand upwards and cut off at a high point that feels natural in the sound field. The Aisha Electri's Electret Tweeter was excellent at providing plenty of detail without overpowering other melodic elements in the track. It stayed light and airy, but didn't fall victim to becoming recessed behind other frequencies.
FINAL THOUGHTS
The Aisha Electri is a truly impressive IEM. Not many IEMs can deliver such tactile and detailed sound for less than $1,000, but Flipears does it with ease and style. The Aisha Electri is perfect for people looking for a hard-hitting bass and light treble response. It has a lot of midrange detail for analytical listeners, but never gets boring. For people looking for an upgrade without breaking the bank, the Aisha Electri is a fantastic choice that will please audiophiles and casual listeners alike.
