The Beyerdynamic T1 3rd Generation is a little different from the reference grade headphones that this German brand is famous for. Unlike the brand's more clinical pro models, the T1 stands out for its clean, yet warm and emotive character. (You'll get a little more bass out of them too). And when balanced with the precision that Beyerdynamic delivers, the result is a highly natural, rich and full-bodied sound that works well across all genres. Given the open-back design, the soundstage is also a pleasure. You'll hear tons of height and depth from nuanced angles, and the entire soundscape is an immersive 3D experience. The other great thing about these cans is their low impedance. Unlike some of Beyerdynamic's other models, the company has made the T1 3rd Generation super easy to drive. So, you won't need to dish out extra for an amp. And finally, you can't deny the rock-solid build quality of Beyerdynamic headphones. I've had my pair for years and its still going strong. Still, if all else fails, you're covered for two years by Beyerdynamic.

The Perfect Headphones and Store!
I have absolutely loved these headphones! Coming from the DT 1990s, I had the expectation of a final version of such that pair, and after going through Head-Fi users' suggestions with pad swaps, removal of the inner padding, I have found myself using the headphones the way they came, and it is no stretch for me to say that these are PERFECT! Beyerdynamic clearly knows how to perfectly tune a headphone. I have listened to a plethora of genres, played video games, watch shows & movies, and this just does everything perfectly! I could not ask for a better pair of headphones for life, and along with the iFi xDSD Gryphon, I find myself the happiest I'll be, certainly for a very very long time (probably until we can stream audio straight into our heads? oof, still not sure I would give up this listening experience!). Additionally, the combination of wonderfully light, with great fit and just the right amount of clamp for the head, as well as being able to be driven by nearly anything (though, listening at higher volumes for these "live" style listening experiences really makes these shine incredibly further than anything I have ever even tried), these really are The Final headphone, in my opinion of course! The people at Audio46 were unbelievably patient with me, and a particular thanks to Nat who did everything in their power to try and get me the headphones when I wanted them by, and for sticking with me through all my indecision and frustration. Thank you so much!
With an EQ, these can rescue hearing impaired music lovers
I had superior hearing until too many very loud “bangs" in the Army, followed by too many years in broadcasting, plus too many years of “immersive” listening. I wear behind-the-ear hearing aids, and they fit inside the ear cups. Sounds great, but taking off the hearing aids, and adding an EQ makes them incredible! Probably, for people with good hearing, an EQ could open the mids and reduce the base for those who feel it’s needed straight out of the box. Also, these are the most comfortable cans I have ever worn. And, the Audio46 price was so much better than anywhere else, it was a no-brainer to order from them. Delivery was about three days after purchase. All-in-all, a very positive experience.

fist of all i want to give props to Audio46 staff for the great customer service. almost every time i surf the website i find something good. i usually end up returning and buying the item. these T1's are like magic. i have used the thx 789, **** magnius, and the fiio k9 pro ess and all i get is magic from this set of headphones. they are a bit pricey but worth every penny. Tesla driver is very clean and crisp. no mistakes with this one, i m,ade the right choice
