Nice upgrade
First, the transaction with Audio46 was great. There is instant order confirmation and the item was shipped with next day delivery - great surprise. The cable itself is of high quality, flexible and very good looking. Much higher quality than the stock cable. The upgrade cable fits snugly into my C9 amp and has me enjoying my Empyrean. Sonically I cannot compare to other cables, but I am pleased with the holographic soundstage, emotional details, and bass impact of the music. For the price it is a great value.
Meze Copper PCUHD Premium Cable Satisfies
In my opinion, a great value compared to the more expensive silver-plated version, the Meze-branded/in-house (or OEM'd) premium cable was a good upgrade for me. It arrived in a box marked "made in Romania," is supple, has a nice braiding and quality terminal connnectors. As expected, there is no noticeable sound signature change for me, as compared against the original basic cable provided with my Empyrean, the silver plated OCC, fabric wrapped aftermarket cable I bought next, or this new Meze Copper PCUHD cable. I bought it for look and feel, as well as added comfort, and it delivers. The cable has no discernable memory. A final bonus if it matters...it coordinates well with the copper accents already present on the headphones.
