The first-generation products of the DISCDREAM series combine and match the existing circuits of different eras. It's required by modern measuring instruments and past listening standards. It's highly anticipated due to its audio performance; however, production is limited due to the difficult workmanship. In the past year, we have tried to continue production while upgrading and developing the audio circuit of the portable CD player. The DISCDREAM 2 Ultra is meticulously crafted with premium materials to elevate your audio experience. It features a full set of Ruby automotive-grade aluminum electrolytic capacitors, known for their reliability and superior audio performance. Three high-precision NDK audio-grade crystal oscillators are used for accurate clock control, ensuring exceptional sound clarity. Tuned by experienced audio electronics engineers, it delivers a warm, delicate, and clean sound signature. Every detail reflects the commitment to achieving unmatched audio quality and a refined listening experience.

4.4mm Fully Balanced Ultra-low Distortion Headphone Output

DISCDREAM 2 Ultra features two output interfaces for driving headphones: The 4.4mm interface provides fully balanced output commonly used in modern HiFi players, delivering 4Vrms/222mW undistorted output power under a 32Ω load. It can easily drive most in-ear headphones/earbuds as well as high-impedance full-size headphones, including some planar headphones.

The 3.5mm interface offers standard stereo output with a 2Vrms output, suitable for driving most in-ear headphones/earbuds. Undistorted output power In accordance with clause 6.4 of the AES17 standard, the maximum output, prior to 3dB compression, of 1% THD+N or 0, represents the maximum undistorted output power, whichever is reached first. This criterion helps differentiate it from the maximum output power, and it is the genuinely effective output power for users.

Additional 3.5mm Multi-Function Interface

The DISCDREAM 2 Ultra is equipped with a versatile 3.5mm multifunctional interface that supports both digital optical and analog linear output. This allows it to function as an all-around player, seamlessly connecting to amplifiers or active speakers.

Users can utilize the analog linear output to connect active speakers or pair it with an external pure amp or power amplifier for driving high-demand headphones. The digital optical output adds further flexibility, enabling connections with DAC/AMPs, speaker systems, or other compatible devices.
