Transcendental. Bought as replacement for Elite pads. Stayed for Empyrean 2. Throw sum nuggs on the strap though, if using for empyrean 2, slighty thinner than stock empyrean 2
Meze Experiment
The transaction and delivery from Audio46 was top notch as always. Bought these to trial with my OG Empyrean and my experience is mixed. The thinner pads don’t work as well with the clamping force to create a tight seal, but it does cover the ears. The sound was more reference but I do think the closer position of the drivers brought out some coherency issues with the sound. I’m back to the Alcantra pads.

I bought them to try out on the Empyrean headphones, These are the pads that they should include with the Empyrean headphones, it’s a perfect balance between the 2 pads that come with the Empyrean headphones.
