Somehow, this little over-achiever hasn't enjoyed the hype given to more famous wireless headphones on the market. And it's a shame, because they're highly skilled and enjoyable cans. The Aonic 50 delivers a thick and reasonably deep bass with texture and grip, avoiding bloat. The middle frequencies offer a moderate balance, not particularly forward but well-balanced with the bass, pleasing purists (though a little subdued in the low-mids). The highs exhibit good extension with crispy and sparkly percussion, avoiding sharpness. The soundstage impresses, offering grandness in scale that rivals the leading wireless models. In short, the no nonsense AONIC 50 is versatile, clean, with great resolution, effective ANC, and a comfortable fit. Not the most portable, since it only folds flat, but overall, a worthy investment that easily competes with other wireless headphones in this price range.
