    Makes a huge difference

I recently upgraded to an Astell & Kern SE200 and Campfire Audio Solaris IEMs. It came with this same Alo cable with a 3.5 mm connection, and I bought this cable for the balanced output, and compared it to a popular $80 Chinese cable I bought on Amazon. As a PhD research scientist, I did not believe the cable would make an audible difference in sound quality. But, at least with the SE200 and Solaris IEMs, the difference between the cables was not subtle but night and day. The Alo cable is vastly more open, articulate, and accurate, it has a brighter top end, a cleaner midrange, and more powerful bass. The soundstage is vastly wider and less condensed as well. I haven't gone back to see if the better cable makes a difference on the older DAP I have, but if you have nicer audio gear and are using a cheap cable, you might want to give this a try. Audio46 was great about sending the cable out the same day and having it to me just two days later. Thanks!

    Great Performance, Pretty Stiff Cable

Great MMCX cable option, good sonic sound quality but beware that the cable can be a little stiff and can in some cases cause heavier IEMs to get loose in your ears.
