THE STUDIO LEGENDS

For decades now, professional users all around the world have placed their trust in our classic range: DT 770/880/990 PRO. These benchmark-setting studio headphones, available in three different models, boast extremely detailed resolution and very transparent sound.

The DT 770 PRO headphones is the range’s closed-back model and offer maximum flexibility and detailed sound that you can rely on.

IMPRESSIVE SOUND VOLUME

The Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO headphones have established themselves as a firm favourite amongst music producers, sound engineers, and broadcasters and are used in studios all over the world. They reproduce the entire frequency range with incredible precision and even reproduce low frequencies in punchy detail.

TOP-NOTCH IMPULSE RESPONSE

The headphones are designed for critical music and sound monitoring, providing a perfectly neutral listening environment with exceptional isolation and top-notch impulse response. High frequencies are translated into an analytical and differentiated sound. Ultra-low bass sounds are defined and reproduced crisply.

EXTREME COMFORT

The robust spring steel headband ensures a secure fit for the wearer. Soft ear cups mean that the headphones are comfortable even if worn for prolonged periods. The single-sided cable allows the headphones to be put on and taken off frequently without cables getting tangled.

DURABILITY

One aspect that sets our products apart from the rest is that they are handmade in Germany. We are particularly proud of the durability of our products because all the components used are replaceable if necessary.

MADE IN GERMANY

The DT 770 PRO headphones are and always have been handcrafted in Germany. The materials and component parts used are painstakingly made by hand and can be replaced if necessary.

HIGH-END STUDIO QUALITY

Thanks to the Tesla technology developed in Heilbronn, the DT 1770 PRO offers even finer resolution with precise and powerful bass. The PRO flagship also sets new standards in terms of wearing comfort and workmanship.

ANY QUESTIONS LEFT?

Which studio headphones work best for gaming?

In general, our DT 770 PRO, DT 700 PRO X and DT 990 PRO, DT 900 PRO X studio headphones are suitable for streamers and can be used for gaming accordingly.

What is the difference between PRO and PRO X?

The PRO range contains classic world-renowned studio headphones that are great for producing, mixing, mastering, and other studio tasks. But you really do need to use a high-quality amplifier or audio interface to get the most out of these headphones. Thanks to the STELLAR.45 driver, The PRO X range is going to sound excellent in the Studio, plugged into an interface or amplifier – but you can also use them on the go if you plug them into a laptop or a smartphone as they are going to turn up very loud. On top of that the comfort and the overall mechanical design were increased and a removable XLR cable was added that can be swapped out depending on what you’re doing.

Which is the best headphone for mixing and mastering?

For mixing and mastering in the studio, open headphones are often used because of the better spatial representation. Our portfolio includes the DT 880 PRO, the DT 990 PRO, the DT 900 PRO X, and the DT 1990 PRO. For (live) mixing in loud environments, closed headphones are usually used. From our portfolio, the DT 770 M, the DT 770 PRO, the DT 700 PRO X, and the DT 1770 PRO are suitable.
