The CA-1 showcases incredible speed and control. In terms of sound signature, it delivers a precise and accurate bass presentation with a somewhat linear extension. The mids exhibit remarkable detail and present vocals with intensity, making them a major highlight during listening with the CA-1a. The treble is equally impressive, featuring strong extension and a well-balanced presentation of treble characteristics that won't cause fatigue. CA-1a is sometimes reminiscent of planar headphones, particularly in the bass, but it still retains the vivid imaging, wide soundstage, and crazy good resolution associated with electrostatic headphones. And in terms of detail, transient response and spaciousness, the CA-1a is one of the best in its class.
