Consumer Review – Pioneer HDJ 1500

Pioneer HDJ 1500

By Stephanie G.
I got these headphones as a gift. I’m normally one of those people who believes you should always shop for your own headphones, so my hopes were low. I was excited when I saw them. The Pioneer HDJ 1500 had a cool look about them with a black leather headband, black metal ear covers, and black leather pads. This is an on ear headphones which I’m normally not a fan of, but the pads and ear cups are larger than most. They have the sound isolation of an over ear headphone which is all that mattered.

When I tried the Pioneer HDJ 1500 that’s when I really became impressed. They are one of the best headphones that I have ever tried. The lows are clear and defined, and the highs are crisp. Every thing I try on these headphones sound good. I grew up dancing ballet & in the south so my musical selection is everything from classical music, to hip hop and rap, to country. Nothing sounds bad or distorted, in fact it made all of my music sound better. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is serious about their music and needs a good pair of headphones. The only negative thing I could possibly say about them is I wish that they had a removable cable and that the cable had a mic in it, but the sound quality makes up for the lack of these features.
