The UTWS5 2-pin model has a flat connector, making it incompatible with IEMs that have recessed 2-pin ports, such as the Noble Knight and Sivga Que. Ensuring compatibility with your IEMs before purchase is essential.

Once paired, the listening experience is intuitive and customizable. The physical button controls provide tactile feedback without disrupting playback. Listening Experience

To test the UTWS5’s performance, I paired it with a variety of IEMs, including the Sivga Nightingale, Meze Alba, 64 Audio Solo, and IKKO Asgard OH5. From the outset, the fit was secure, and listening was seamless. The dual volume control—on both the ear hooks and the connected device—provided ample headroom without introducing distortion. Impressively, the UTWS5 could drive higher-impedance IEMs with ease.

The Meze Alba, a personal favorite, showcased its V-shaped sound signature cleanly through the UTWS5. The device preserved the Alba’s detailed presentation and emphasized front-facing vocals. Similarly, when paired with hi-fi IEMs like the 64 Audio Solo, the UTWS5 delivered clarity, dynamic bass, and airy highs without compromise.
