Audeze stays true to its talents with the LCD-2 Classic. The bass is punchy yet highly realistic, remaining faithful to the recording's bass elements while delivering them with power and impact. And while that unmistakable Audeze warmth is ever-present, the low-end showcases great texture and a clean sense of separation from the midrange. (Unlike some headphones that suffer from congestion or muddiness in this region, the LCD-2 Classic maintains excellent separation clean layering.) While the mids are generally evenly balanced, vocals have a slightly forward presence. In the treble region, the LCD-2 Classic leans towards a smooth presentation while retaining solid extension. And overall, these cans capture all the available power and dynamics of the whatever track you play, providing an incredibly engaging and impactful listening experience. So, if you're looking for a bold and distinctly energetic headphone, here it is.
