Audio-Technica - ATH-M50x Professional Monitor Headphones
These Audio-Technica ATH-M50x are clean and crisp. Bass is reserved but those who know the history know that these are in such high demand by studio and concert musicians because AT levels out the frequency you hear to be EXACTLY how it was mixed in the studio. No preset "booming bass" or "crisp loud highs" just the intended equalization. My 3rd pair. I let my son borrow my first pair from 2014. Never got those back, he loves them. So I buy another and let my teen daughter borrow them, she won't give them back. Luckily I'm out of kids (that I know of) and learned not to lend them out. Great headphones for the price. I recommend retrofitting the ear muffs with some memory foam velour or something thicker. The oem on these is suspect and frankly uncomfortable after only a few minutes to me. I've owned Pioneer, Sony, Sennheiser, BangOlofson... many others... I'm always happy to pay under $200 for such a quality, reference grade item. Get you a pair! If you don't like them return or sell them... they're hot all the time.
Headphones are comfortable and the sound is great.
I bought them for my keyboard and they are excellent.
