BC150B-490 Double Shielded Silver Headphones Upgrade Cable Designed for Sennheiser HD 490 PRO
Designed with dual connectors
Why not use single-sided connector? Although the HD 490 PRO can be single plugged on one side to achieve balanced sound, yet considering the consistency of the left and right speakers, and not to make the sound seems thin because of the wire of built-in head beam, using a dual-connector is more suitable for HiFi music.
Mini-XLR 4Pin* connector with latching
It's commendable for Sennheiser to use the more professional and reliable XLR as the connector for replacing upgrade cable.
*As the Mini-XLR 4pin connector of the BC150B-490 has a black lacquer finish, the part inserted into the headphone socket will be slightly peeled off due to scratching with the socket after repeated plugging and unplugging, which is an unavoidable wear and tear.
Accurate and detailed monitoring style
A higher level of drive ability is required to make the HD 490 PRO perform well. Using a balanced 4.4mm cable allows you to make use of these monitor headphones as music headphones. Compared to the monitoring style of 3.5mm single-ended plug, the BC150B-490 balanced cable makes the HD 490 PRO more relaxed to listen to, supplementing the details of low and high frequencies.
