Audio46's Opinion
A beautiful v-shaped sound signature with ample detail and good soundstage easily lend this model to rock tracks. And yet, it performs equally well with classical or acoustic tunes. Perhaps the most surprising thing about the Final Audio E5000 is the sheer amount of fidelity packed into such a small earphone.

E5000
With E5000, no particular sound ranges have been emphasized, and this, together with our commitment to detailed sound expression, achieves a vast sound stage that seems to envelop you, something unthinkable in earphones up until now.
In addition, the silver-coated cable is standard equipment. With the employment of an MMCX connector that can be re-cabled, it is possible to replace the cable in the event of cable breakage.

Final Audio A5000 -vs- Final Audio E5000
The A5000 is the one for me as I usually prefer balances that are light on the low mids and heavy on the treble; those who prefer bright and revealing sound signatures will likely share my opinion when comparing these two units. However, the E5000 has undeniable appeal for those who prefer more coloration, density, and bass in their sound signatures. Both have extraordinary imaging capabilities, so if you're making up your mind between the two, find your answer by asking yourself whether you prefer warm and dense or crisp and airy.
Our Full ReviewFinal Audio E4000 -vs- Final Audio E5000
Writing this review felt like comparing apples to oranges. These two headphones have very different sound profiles. But you also get what you pay for. The E5000 is fuller, rounder, more detailed, and has a deeper bass. At the same time, the E4000 is no slouch, and I think it gives you more bang for your buck. But both are a decent listening experience.
