AN EYE FOR DETAIL
Focal and Bentley share a passion for working the highest quality leather hides, nurturing them through skilled hand-craftsmanship. This is reflected in the Radiance earcups which are finished in soft, breathable Pittards gloving leather, for incredible comfort. The copper accents reference the magnificent Bentley EXP 100 GT, and further Bentley styling cues include the recurring lattice pattern that is showcased on the earcups, the cable connections and on the underside of their sumptuous padded headband. Evoking the styling cues of Bentley car interiors, the grilles blend harmoniously with the other carefully selected components and quality materials, making Focal for Bentley Radiance a unique object - a true collector’s item to wear and carry everywhere you go.

Focal Radiance Closed-Back Headphones
In comparison to the Elegia, I found the Radiance to be similar in resolution/technicalities but with a noticeable warmer signature, which I found prevalent in the mid-bass and upper-bass. It certainly made them more enjoyable than the Elegia for casual listening. The fit and finish is super nice, and the leather earpads are a really nice touch. However, I found it really hard to justify the price tag.
Overall, the headphones are great. I really enjoy their clarity, wide scene and bass/treble balance. Even though I concede that in order to get the best performance possible you might need an AMP/DAC and a lossless source, I use these headphones directly connected to my macbook air m1 and listen to Deep Trance podcasts. One thing bothers me a lot: The default cord is too short, so I've ordered a new longer one.
