Best purchase ever!
I have been eyeing an open back for quite sometime. So when I saw the He 1000 V2 Stealth on sale, I pounced on it. All my life all i used were IEMs. Always thought full size headphones aren’t foe me. And I have demoed and owned some of the best IEMs. Well, I was wrong. The moment I plugged in the 1000s, I was blown away. I realized how much I was loosing all these many years. The 1000s are so easy to drive. I use them with my Questyle M15 dongle and iPhone. Or my Sony WM1AM2 DAP. They all sound wonderful. But the best is when I use this headphone with the Woo Fireflies WA7 3rd gen. The sound becomes very holographic and magical. With very deep bass and wide sound stage. As always Audio46 is my go to store for all my needs. Tony K always got my back. Looking back, and knowing what I now know, I would have purchased this headphone even on regular price. That’s how good it is!

Hifiman HE1000v2, may just be my “end game” headphone.
I have been looking forward to picking up an HE1000v2 for a while now. I finally pulled the trigger and I am very happy that I did. I upgraded from an Edition X V2, which I enjoyed very much. The HE1000v2 is like the bigger brother, and brings even more to the show. This headphone has been out for a while so I won't bore you with another review of the sonic and technical capabilities, that have already been discussed by others much more capable than myself. What I can say is that the HE1000v2 allows me to get lost in my music for hours on end because of the way it presents itself, and the fact that it is also very comfortable, despite its size. It never fails to amaze me each time I listen with it.
