The Mark Levinson brand has always been famous for it’s high-end home audio gear. No doubt, it’s the stuff that audiophiles drool over as they window shop for their next dream purchase. But headphones are a new endeavor for the company. Though it’s hard to ignore the steep price tag, Mark Levinson’s No.5909 checks all the boxes you’d expect for a high end Bluetooth headphone. Musical, articulate, fast and beautifully balanced, the No.5909, if nothing else, is thoroughly pleasing to the ears. Add to that a superb level of ANC that matches, if not beats the competition, and you have a Bluetooth headphone that come pretty close to flawless. The fit may be the only factor to consider, especially if you have a particularly large head or are sensitive around the ears.

Mark Levinson No.5909
I'm no audiophile. The headphones are ok. Not worth the price to me. Not enough bass. Just my opinion. I thought the sound would be better...I thought for the price and the reviews the sound would blow my mind. They don't sound bad...they don't sound 1000 bucks good either... Audio46 is outstanding. I would definitely buy from them again!
Love the build quality and appearance. Great clarity in sound. Just wish they had more bass. Maybe with time, this will change.
Sounds good, but the ones I received one side was loose far as the part where the ear cup turns & one side ear pad started to look like it was going to start cracking soon had lines near the base fitting end.. so I returned them because I only listened to them twice & the ear pad started looking like they wasn't going to last long enough for 900$ but Audio 46 is a very good company if it wasn't for that I would've kept them.

These have surpassed my expectations. After using them for 8+ hours the diaphragms and electronics have settled-in, and they sound fantastic. Excellent purchasing experience at Audio46 as well. Will shop again! John S.
JACK OF ALL TRADES
The ML 5909 is absolutely fantastic. I've been able to test them against a number of wireless headphones and overall they take the cake. Do they have the strongest ANC or call quality? They're really good but that belongs to the Sony Wh-1000XM5. The best transparency? Well that's the Airpods Max. Most comfortable? I'd probably give that to the Focal Bathys but the 5909 are pretty close. Sound quality though? Well that's the 5909 as it just sounds soo good. Wirelessly it picks up more nuances, has clearer treble, and has a cleaner bass than any of the other wireless options I've tried all while still sounding fun. The icing on the cake is that for as good as it sounds wireless it sounds even better wired and depending on the source it's run from the audio only keeps improving. Add all that to its unboxing, the case, the accessories and the build quality, then the $1000 price tag starts to look VERY reasonable. The only other 2 headphones I can say offer it serious competition are the Dali io-12 and T+A Solitaire T... but those two are also $300-$600 more than the 5909 and I'm not so sure that they actually are the better sets. All in all I love my ML 5909 and I'm pretty sure anyone who hears them will say the same.
