Audio46's Opinion

There’s no question that, out of all the competition, the FoKus Prestige comes the closest to approximating a high-performance IEM. Fast, transparent and impeccably clean with a powerful bass, energetic mids and easy highs, I haven’t heard another true wireless model that sounds this good. The price tag is admittedly steep, but after listening to FoKus Prestige even for a few minutes, it becomes clear that Noble is looking to set an entirely new standard in wireless sound.

So Glad I bought these, Worth every penny!

I have a long experience of using very high end audiophile Headphones, IEM's and high-resolution files from player /DAC combo sources. However from a practical sense much of my listening has been utilitarian the last few years; easy, efficient; not necessarily focused on Sound quality; using Apple EarPods, Sony, B&O, and B&W products etc. Recently I was looking for a set of Wireless earbuds to listen to a sleep hypnosis program on a loop all night with both words, music and bone conducted bass. I had settled on the new Sony WF 1000XM5's, with a long play time, only to find the sound average by my standards, and earphones constantly falling out. I discovered the Noble Prestige, and based on the reviews, felt they had a balanced and neutral sound signature and were actually close to audiophile grade wired-like IEMs. I have had them 3 days, and have not been disappointed. Not trying to repeat a detailed audiophile review of the sound, I'll say for my purposes the: Bass is clear, detailed and with a thump! The IEMs produce a lot of volume, I can run them most of the time between 40-60% volume where the others were often close to full volume. The mids are clear, male and female vocals have good air, and I can understand words, that with the other IEMs I didn't understand. The quality of the vocals, in terms of the vocal texture is immediately obvious. There is corresponding similar detail in the hIgh's or treble, without sibilance. All these benefits are imediately identifiable even on iPhones with only an AAC codec. The Hearing test that produces a custom EQ feature is neat and I think is helpful. The earphones are large, and could fall out like my previous ones, but the Sound is so superior I think they are really worth the effort and extra care. I found a wide and long SpinFit CP155 that seems to work as equally well as the stock double ****** and may have a bit more comfort for all night wearing, and maybe less likely to fall out. The MFGR warranty is 1 year, I purchased the 2 year Audio46 warranty and I think that is a good value. I know some people may feel the price is too high, for Wireless battery IEMs. But frankly they cost about 2 months of my cable bill, and I expect I will have them longer than 2 years, and the amount of enjoyment of listening to music as the artist intended, they are worth it. For my purposes the noise isolation the earphone seals provide obviate the need for the noise cancelling features which would also degrade the sound. These are hands down a great earphone. I am well pleased and the folks at Audio46 are trustworthy and terrific!

Objectively good but not worth the price

As someone whose favorite TWS earbuds/iem’s are the Technics AZ-80’s, I have to say these can objectively layer and separate instruments better, as well as provide superior bass punch, but their tuning seemed too muddy in the precision department, as well as a bit of overbite with the bass drop-off into the mid bass. Simply put, technically superior but an auditory flop for my modern metalcore/precusion heavy genre preference. I will be sticking with my az80’s as they confidently trade blows with these at half the price. For reference, I’ve also listened to (in depth and side by side) the B&O Beoplay EX’s, B&W PI7 S2’s, Sony XM5’s, as well as these. In my very picky but also mildly uneducated opinion, the Technics AZ80’s fulfill such a balance that none of the others can match.

First time using Noble, now a fan.

I love the sound, I had tried a few other hifi tws but this package is more in line with what I value. I would have preferred to have anc as an option but I can live without it as the seal is very secure. These are a bit bassy in comparison to some other brands I've tried (svanar) but it has eq settings and the custom eq resolved a lot of concerns for me. The treble isn't overly bright which I definitely enjoyed. Two cons I have that are why I docked a star, the software wants to constantly put them in ambient mode whenever they reconnect it doesn't want to save my preference of having it off. And secondly the bore size is quite large as well as the tips have a very thick material. I understand the wood bore being bigger but not the tips. It's necessary in my opinion to swap the tips I got the spinfit small cp155 and the seal was still good while providing much needed relief on the pressure side of things. This did tone down the bass for me which is a preference for long listening, if I want stronger bass I'll temporarily use the stock tips again.

excellent

I think this have more stage width and depth than the Fokus Mystic, I like everything about it, except that I feel it's a bit hard or slippery to take out the earbuds. But other than that I highly recommended it, if you ilke previous Fokus or thinking about it
