Introduced at the Toyko Headphones Festival, in April 2017. This amp was designed to perfectly compliment Sennheiser's Luxury Audiophile headphones. Building off of the HDVD 800, The HDV 820 offers consistently symetrical signal processing and extremely low Harmonic Distortion, to ensure that the signal at playback is how it was intended to be.
The Sennheaiser HDV820 is powered by a High-Quality ESS SABRE32 DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) that surpasses the previous generation with an even higher resolution of 32 bits and a sampling rate of 384 kHz. This Amp is also capable of p[laying DSD256 files up to 12.3 MHz. Audio outputs include XLR3-, XLR4-, 6.3mm- & 4.4mm Pentacon Sockets, making connection to this amp extremely easy.The HDV 820 can recieve input from Optical, Coaxial, USB, Balanced (XLR), and Unbalanced(RCA) connections.
