This headphone holds a special place in our hearts. Grado's gorgeously retro feel and incredibly multidimensional imaging is finally available in wireless form. Indeed, the GW100x delivers a remarkably spacious soundstage for a wireless headphone, even when compared with much higher priced Bluetooth models. The bass is lively and energetic, with excellent transparency in the low-end. The mids shine in the high range, making vocals and percussion stand out, perfect for jazz tracks, especially. The highs are also beautifully represented, avoiding uncomfortable brightness, while providing a fluid and highly detailed listening experience. And while the open-back design may not be optimal for your commutes to work, there’s no question that the GW100x is one of the best performing and most unique wireless headphones on the market today. A must-have for audiophiles hungry for something different.

Best purchase in years
I've been wanting to get my first real pair of open-back headphones for a few years. And I always heard great things about Grado. When I finally started to enjoy wireless headphones after several years of being so unhappy with the ones I auditioned, I heard about these from Grado and immediately went into Audio 46 where I go to listen to them and compare them to many well-established brands of close-backed wireless cans. At first, the Grados seemed a little aggressive on the high mids and upper range but the excitement and presence blew me away so after trying Sennheiser, Sony, and others I said to Tony definitely, "These are the ones" and plunked down my $275. And boy am I delighted with them. Openbacks are for private listening, that's not even worth mentioning in reviews as a con. If you want travel or office cans, get closed-back ones or wireless buds (I love the Apple Air Pods Pro 2's for that use with my iPhone, surprisingly enjoyable and fantastic user experience). But the Grados are like listening to really good speakers but on my computer or phone. If the highs get a little strong (not strident minds you but my ears are just a little sensitive in the upper range and Tony assured me that is a Grado signature) I just lower the volume a tad. They're so comfortable and the signature sounds is pure delight and excitement. Pairing with my iPhone is fast and reliable, the battery life is amazing, the controls are simple, and they do just that they need to - provide a musical and fresh experience for me myself. As I write this I'm listening to Schubert's cello and piano Arpeggione Sonata and I feel like the musicians are there in front of me. I'm thrilled.
Amazing sound for wireless
Being open backed they will not be good for use anywheres then a quiet environment. Sound is the best I’ve heard on a wireless headphone. That includes Apple Air pod max Grado is an amazing company. If you want a headphone under 300 bucks then go to Audio 46 and check Grado out. You will be happy you did.
A win for Grado lovers
These are an excellent way to get the Grado sound and feel in a wireless headset. I love that the drivers and design are very much like the model RS2X (which I also own and use regularly). Paired with the right source hardware that has APTX Adaptive, the sonics are wonderful. My source hardware is the FIIO M11 Plus for home use and also the Asus Zenfone 8 for mobile / lightweight use.
Grado Gets Better with Time
I didn't know initially what to think about Grado when I purchased a set a few years ago. But with each listen it got so much better. And I expect nothing different with this new pair. Reliable shipping and consistent seller. I always go back to Audio46.

The headphones are great. I listen to a lot of classical music and jazz and it all sounds great. Using them wired for the TV works great as well.
